Pump up the Bass will ya!

Yeah! Pump up the bass! Sounds pretty partying mood types, right? The timing couldn't be more perfect...New Year's round the corner, Christmas just got over... So, I guess this is one phrase you are pretty much familiar with! Music ..the one thing which no one cannot not love! It is the one of those things which is so versatile that you can listen to no matter the time. I know ..I know...right now some song must be playing in the background...inside your head...Go on ..listen to it! Don't stop yourself.!

Ok, I hope you must be playing the music in the background and still reading this article! See, that's the power of music-Instant rejuvenation. You agree ,right? If you don't well, then ....change the track! I am no musician, but I think I pretty much a need a dose of music almost everyday. By now, you must be wondering ..Ok,dude what's your point? My point is how do you listen to music...Speakers...Headphones...Earphones ..right? Why don't I give you some tips on how to choose one of these things so that you can "pump" up your music experience. I hope now that must have caught your attention. So, I will be mostly talking about Headphones and Earphones in this article. It's not that I am being partial towards these two ..You can pretty much extend the same to speakers. Fair enough? Now, most of us use these two terms interchangeably except for those gadget freaks. I know you know the difference , so I'll just continue.(P.S. Headphones are the ones that go over your head and cover your ears. Earphones are the ones which are thin wired and just fit into your ears.) First things first , Headphones ..means related to sound....sound related to..??? Frequency! Yea, you got it right! Most of the headphones and earphones manufacturers cover this spec. It would be something like 15-25,000Hz. Trick is that you have to choose the one with large range. Meaning the lower number should be lower and higher number should be higher. Simple, right? If the headphones lower frequency is around 10-15 Hz it is pretty good and higher frequency is above 23,000 Hz ..You have got yourself a great pair of Headphones! Run to the store and purchase it! Well, not so soon. The spec should be mentioned with like this : 15-25000Hz(-3db) or 15-20000Hz(-10db). If it is mentioned ...Now you can go and buy those! Else, you may have to ask the shop guy for details.(Which I don't think he knows)

Going on with the second important spec - Impedance. Engineering guys, remember? If you don't, don't worry it is not a big deal. Just wanted to test you! Ok, so as per geeks, impedance should be less. Less than what? Usually less than 32 Ohms is recommended. Most of the headsets usually have impedance under 32 Ohms. Do watch out for this spec, because the top brands ensure this spec while the low cost new entrants mostly bypass this one.

Next is something most of you must be waiting for(probably)....Noise Isolation and Noise Cancellation! Yeah...those are two different terms, my friend! Isolation is how better the noise around you is isolated from the music that is being played in your ears. It includes all kinds of noise...people speaking...cars..bikes...in general noise! Noise cancellation on the other hand stop the low frequency noise from entering your ears. That would NOT include human voice!(#MythBusted) Both these specs are different and varies from brand to brand. Noise cancellation in a non-noisy environment would give slightly weaker bass than noise isolation headset under same conditions. So, now depending on your usage choose the headset..If you  travel more and work in noisy surroundings go for noise cancellation. If you want to stay calm and peaceful from human chatter go for noise isolation!

I know...got bit technical! Don't worry this is the fun part. The final thing to consider before buying headphones or earphones is...Wait..Before that ...It is a myth that Headphones have higher bass than the earphones! It actually depends on the headset. Point being larger headset need not always have better bass and treble qualities. Coming back to the final thing....and it is...any guesses? ...If you haven't got it...(not creating much suspense) ..It is your Own Personal Experience! Headphones and earphones are not custom modelled to any ear size. So, it is very important that the headset you choose fits in well in your ears. The better the earphones fits in better would be your experience!  So, try out the headset ...play range of songs...if you "feel" it right...just go for it! Don't worry about the tech specs at all...Just go for it!

So, these are the tips I would suggest you to use in case you are looking for  headphones or earphones. Keep listening to music! Stay alive and Do explore! Ciao!

Don't think about Buying Tablet in 2020! They are going to be Dead!

Remember the time when the "mobile" phones were not "smart" yet and had this really compact form factor with durability such that they can only be destroyed by some natural calamity ? Yep, those times were not far from today ..just a decade ago and we didn't have to think about the phone falling off a cliff, or catching fire or trampled under a car or drowned into a sea! Then there was this highly delicate and expensive loner phone called the "iPhone" which required such extreme care, for you wouldn't be able to afford its maintenance! This phone was one of the first ones to start a trend of increasing the display size over the year and that led to hilarious memes as below Being mocked by their competition only strengthened their move and Apple went onto release the iPhone 11 Pro Max or Max Pro (whatever!) which was 6.5 inch long and was close enough to the prediction in the memes. This time it wasn't getting mocked but was ...

How to Pair Huawei Watch GT2 with Any Headphones within 1 min - the Perfect Hack

The Smartwatch and wearables industry has seen the biggest spike in 2019-2020 time frame. Starting off with Apple Airpods to may other brands trying to mimic the design and provide low cost alternatives the users have graciously welcomed each and every product in the line. There is a fan base for the neckband type, another base for the "TWS" (Truly Wireless) Earbuds and there's altogether separate base for the Wireless Headphones category. Then we saw an upsurge in the health monitoring wearable devices which was popularized by Fitbit and then in the last couple of years by Apple and Xiaomi. The current market has many players and there's no clear winner in terms of market share for the smartwatches / health monitoring wearables. Huawei has somehow missed the train and joined in late for the party. But as they say in Hindi - " Der aaye Durust Aaye .. "  which means - Came in Later But in a mint condition .. Huawei launched its first smartwatch the...
