Did we Just Get a SneakPeak at the OnePlus Buds and Rear Look at OnePlus Nord Concept !

OnePlus Nord is around the corner with OnePlus continuously teasing the fans about the launch. It seems to have definitely captured the attention of many as the publicity campaign of the Nord has been phenomenal throughout. In a recent interview with Carl Pei , one of the leading minds behind the OnePlus Nord series, he mentioned that the OnePlus Nord is not only the phone model but also a series that they are planning to launch in the coming years.

Since inception, oneplus has been the brand that has promised premium features at budget prices and somewhere down the line the price has gone beyond the "budget" range. Looks like they have realized the same and launched another series to capture mid-tier range. And the OnePlus Nord does seem to be an ideal candidate for the same. In the interview with popular tech youtuber MKBHD, we can see Carl very clearly exhibiting the much awaited OnePlus buds.

As you can see its design is very similar to the Apple airpods 3 and much like most Android brands , OnePlus have joined the bandwagon of copying the Airpods design and why shouldn't they if the consumers do like that ? Contrary to the popular leaks of the matte black color, this one is Sky blue variant which looks to be compact enough to fit in perfectly in the ears. Moreover, OnePlus claims the total battery life on the OnePlus buds would be around 30Hrs. Now, that I think would be interesting ! Of course, when they say the "total" is 30 Hrs it means the battery life of the Buds and the Case together. That's a clever strategy these earphone manufacturers are resorting to show hyped up numbers.

The case looks similar to the Pixel buds as well as the Apple Airpods case, it's kind of in between. The pricing would be similar to the Oppo Enco TWS buds which are priced under Rs.5000 and Oppo being the mother company of OnePlus it only seems logical that the OnePlus buds wouldn't differ much from that.

Now, for the surprise look at one of the concept phones that OnePlus had originally planned for the OnePlus Nord, but pulled out from it and "settled" on to the now popular design. It's interesting to note how they were planning on the squarish camera layout along with L shaped overall layout.  One of these could have been a potential design for the OnePlus Nord, but wasn't finally able to make the cut. If you carefully look at the bottom half of the rear end, it has a different texture compared to the top half where the cameras are placed. I believe this was a combination of matte and glass finish.

In the below image, you can see a violetish Blue hue variant and the green matte finish variant which both look quite different than what we have seen in most smartphones now. The Green matte finish would have been definitely the popular choice. Not sure if we will get to see one in the OnePlus Nord. Let's wait and find out soon on July 21st!

The OnePlus buds is rumored to be launched along with OnePlus Nord on July 21, and we also expect there to be some kind of combo offer for both. The OnePlus Nord + OnePlus Buds combo could eventually come down to a price of Rs.27,999 - Rs.29,999 and that with some more cashback offers from Amazon. It's quite a sweet deal and if only China had not ruined its global reputation, this would have been a massive hit in the Indian market. With the growing anti-China sentiment, OnePlus sure would loose out a chunk of their sales than what they would have expected. That's also probably the reason behind their huge marketing and publicity package.

Don't think about Buying Tablet in 2020! They are going to be Dead!

Remember the time when the "mobile" phones were not "smart" yet and had this really compact form factor with durability such that they can only be destroyed by some natural calamity ? Yep, those times were not far from today ..just a decade ago and we didn't have to think about the phone falling off a cliff, or catching fire or trampled under a car or drowned into a sea! Then there was this highly delicate and expensive loner phone called the "iPhone" which required such extreme care, for you wouldn't be able to afford its maintenance! This phone was one of the first ones to start a trend of increasing the display size over the year and that led to hilarious memes as below Being mocked by their competition only strengthened their move and Apple went onto release the iPhone 11 Pro Max or Max Pro (whatever!) which was 6.5 inch long and was close enough to the prediction in the memes. This time it wasn't getting mocked but was ...

How to Pair Huawei Watch GT2 with Any Headphones within 1 min - the Perfect Hack

The Smartwatch and wearables industry has seen the biggest spike in 2019-2020 time frame. Starting off with Apple Airpods to may other brands trying to mimic the design and provide low cost alternatives the users have graciously welcomed each and every product in the line. There is a fan base for the neckband type, another base for the "TWS" (Truly Wireless) Earbuds and there's altogether separate base for the Wireless Headphones category. Then we saw an upsurge in the health monitoring wearable devices which was popularized by Fitbit and then in the last couple of years by Apple and Xiaomi. The current market has many players and there's no clear winner in terms of market share for the smartwatches / health monitoring wearables. Huawei has somehow missed the train and joined in late for the party. But as they say in Hindi - " Der aaye Durust Aaye .. "  which means - Came in Later But in a mint condition .. Huawei launched its first smartwatch the...
