Apple Silicon Based Macs - The Real Problem!

Apple has completely made up for the complete lack of media coverage in the last 6 months within just last 2 months! October and November has been filled with iPhone 12 and related accessories buzz and people can't get enough of it! Just yesterday in Apple's " One More Thing" Event , we got a glimpse of the Apple Silicon "M1" made for the Mac series of Laptops and Desktop (computers) . Apple has pushed forward huge claims mostly taking an indirect jibe at Intel for its power hungry processors. Apple Silicon M1 is coming to Macbook Air, Macbook Pro and Mac Mini ! They claim the performance per Watt to be 2x more than "best selling windows" laptop which makes you wonder which one is it ? In the entire presentation, the performance and efficiency numbers were just thrown on to the slides very vaguely which basically said our processors are better than ... some competitor who we cannot name ! (probably voldemort ?!)  Anyways, the good news is tha...

Over the past 2-3 years, the numbers have only increased and it's good thing and a bad thing. The consumer has so many choices to choose from, he gets confused and doesn't really find difference between any two. October 2020, the launches got pushed out a month or so because of the COVID19 situation. Nevertheless, smartphone manufacturers are marching ahead with many launches. Poco X3 NFC - A Flagship Experience at Budget Price ?

While you would have been overwhelmed by the number of product launches that have happened in the last two months. And one might even wonder what is actually the difference between each of these ? I mean is it really necessary to launch so many products in succession now the lockdown is easing out globally ? Well, they have put investment and they need the returns now. Anyway, Poco X3 "NFC" was launched this week with brand new Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor which offers 15% higher performance in CPU and Gaming over the Snapdragon 730G (Gaming is awesome btw)!. If you're wondering if NFC stands for something other than the already known "NFC" (Near Field Communication btw) then let me stop you right there - It's NOT!  It's just they probably ran out of names - "pro", "ultra", "lite","max" and what not. NFC has been there like for a decade now. The phone that I purchased during my college had NFC and that ...

Realme 7 Pro Announced at Budget Price | Best Budget Phone of 2020 ?

Realme has announced their new 7 series lineup and is available for order on flipkart exclusively. Today we are reviewing the Realme 7 Pro phone. The biggest feature on the 7 Pro is the 65W Superfast Dart Charging that's available on very few phones so far and could soon become a norm by the end of the year. It has a battery capacity of 4500 Mah which is pretty decent to last longer than a day on daily usage basis. The 65W charger claims to charge from 0 to 100% in 34 Minutes! That's actually super fast. Personally speaking, not a big fan of these "Super" Fast chargers which wear off the batteries quickly , but man is that quick!  Credits: GSMArena Coming to the hardware, it is powered by a relatively older processor - Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G . The 720 G is pretty good but at this point of time, the Snapdragon 765G is doing the round in most mid premium , so atleast a 730G would have made more sense. Then again the pricing for the 7 Pro balances the performance to c...

Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition (S20 Lite) - Is This The Phone We Are All Awaiting For ?

Samsung is on a roll for the past 2 years with respect to the number of products released in the smartphone category. It has captured all price segments and people just have more options to look for. This strategy has been applied for the last couple of years before which it had observed a major slump in their sales. The heads of departments had to brainstorm and finally they went to what they do the best - Quantity and Quality. We are seeing good result of this approach. And Samsung might soon come up with a successor to the very much appreciated Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite . (Which is still one of the best buys in 2020!) One of the primary reasons why it was appreciated so much is because of the affordability and price worthiness! Samsung cut down the right amount of features and put a price tag that could appeal to most!  May be it's a clever strategy - to introduce their flagship phone close to $1000 USD bracket and the " Lite " version of it at just few hundred bucks ...

In this pandemic year of 2020, we have seen a rise in the demand for smartphone accessories and the section of the audio accessories has seen a large rise in the demand. The True Wireless (TWS) earphones have been the major hit after Apple introduced the Airpods couple of years ago! And it took the competitors a couple of years to make that tech budget friendly and now everyone has jumped on to the bandwagon of these TWS earbuds. Due to the Work from Home (WFH) scenario, many office goers are tied to their homes and some times require a quite surrounding to be able to focus on their work. For that they are interested in the real deal! The Active Noise Cancelling over the ear Headphones! And there have been 3 major companies that are battling in this domain - Sony, Bose and Sennheiser!
